Mixed Blood Continuing Education 1

0ur Executive Director, Sara Jones, will be a panelist for an upcoming CLE hosted by the Mixed Blood Theatre. Below is the CLE description provided by the Mixed Blood Theatre.

In addition to tailor-made plays, Mixed Blood offers Continuing Legal Education that explore legal precedence around issues of disability, sexual orientation, race, and sexual harassment. Led by attorney/actor Chris Carlson of Narrative Pros, our CLEs use live theatre, film, panel discussions and conversation to advance understanding of ethics and bias elimination. Panelists include Amy Bergquist (Senior Staff Attorney, Advocates for Human Justice), Sarah Davis (Executive Director, The Legal Rights Center), Sara Jones (Executive Director, Great Northern Innocence Project), Isabella Nascimento (Staff Attorney, ACLU), Dan Shulman (Staff Attorney, ACLU), and Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Cowan Wright (District of Minnesota).

We are offering two CLEs centered around the career of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The first, entitled RBG CLE: Elimination of Bias is pending accreditation for 2 hours of Elimination of Bias, and will take place virtually on March 23rd from 8 – 10 AM. The second, entitled RBG CLE: Ethics is pending accreditation for 3 hours of Ethics, and will take place virtually on April 8th from 8 – 11 AM.
